NASA Orbiting Carbon Observatory on a Taurus XL Ready for Launch

VANDENBERG AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. -- The launch of NASA's Orbiting Carbon Observatory, or OCO, aboard a Taurus XL rocket is scheduled for Feb. 24.
